The Crave Specialty Artisan Market is a Columbia, South Carolina farm-to-table establishment that focuses on both selling regional products and making artisan sandwiches with fresh, local ingredients. They pride themselves in being “Your neighborhood café and market.” I created a speculative rebrand for Crave that captures the unique and friendly tone that they hope to communicate to their customers. After working through sketches, I found the perfect typeface to use for the rebrand called Tagada, which exudes playfulness and friendless while keeping the professionalism of a serif. After ultimately deciding on placement, I retained the red color from their original logo and complimented it with an off-white. The final result was a very unique, modernized, and friendly brand kit complete with a punch card and shopping bag.
